Greetings, dear musical blog,
Hi, my name is Daniel Foo, I'm a student from the National University of Singapore, majoring in Southeast Asian Studies. During my study in NUS, I decided to embark on a journey on exchange in Hanoi, Vietnam for 1 semester. I had a really enjoyable and memorable experience, learning many things along the way. While on exchange, I was tasked to do a research paper, which I pondered about for a long time on what I should do. In the end, MUSIC popped into my mind, and from then on the rest is history! Basically my paper is on the nature of Musical Performances in Vietnam, and therefore have decided to open this blog to share with you all the experiences I had, and also as a complimentary blog for my paper~~
This blog shall showcase all the various musical performances that I have come across in my exchange to Vietnam, Hanoi, 2008. Along with music videos, there will also be a commentaries on the nature of these musical performances, and of course, my own personal input, so if you are a music fan, and particularly have a liking for Vietnamese music and culture, or simply want to know what the music scene is like in Vietnam, then sit back , relax, and enjoy !
